Interface 3

TOPIC 3 : PARTS OF PLANTS


Module PartsOfPlants is using JOptionPane. The first message dialog will show warm welcome to the students. The message will show like this :


Next, the programme will showInputDialog that asked the user to input their name. 



As the user input their name, then the programme will showMessageDialog the user’s name.



The programme then will let the user know the LEARNING OBJECTIVE of this module.



The module then give some INFORMATION about the subtopic.(Parts of plants).




After the user gain some knowledge and information, next, programme will provide some QUIZ They will be asked a total of 6 questions in multiple choice format and need to answer as A/B/C/D. Example:


As the user done answering all total of 6 questions, then the programme will provide mark for them. Every correct answer will give 16.67 mark.




The next part will be GAME. The programme will execute like this.



In the games part, user will see a  picture. 



Then the user will be prompt an answer. (TRUE/CORRECT).



If they input a correct answer then a message dialogue will show CORRECT, else,

a message dialogue will show WRONG.





END of programme.

TOPIC 1 : BASIC NEEDS OF PLANTS

* this modul show some information about this topic
* student must first read this information to answer the question in next modul






KUIZ MENU
* This modul is to test the knowledge of the student about ths subtopic

* click<ok> to start the quiz

* Student must answer all the question by Input the A,B,C, or D as the answer
* student will get wrong if input the wrong answer and let the answer NULL

* if student answers rightly it will show the current marks
                                       


       * if student answer wrongly it will show the correct answer and the current marks

* total score after answer all quiz
* click <ok> to continue modul


GAME MENU
* this modul is a game modul
* it just a simplepuzzle


* student must input the correct answer and click <ok>

* after ansswer the qustion, it will show the correct answer

After finish all the madul in this subtopis, student must go back ti MAIN MENU 
studnet can choose either exit or choose other subtopic

About Project


TK2934 – Project 1
Sem 1. 2012/2013


            There is much education software today. My son is 8 years old. I would like to introduce interesting edutainment applications to children in his age group. You’re required to design and implement a java based application for a topic in Science for year 2 student. The application for this project would be a menu based program with the main menu similar to the following:
Topic:
1. Subtopic 1
2. Subtopic 2
3. Subtopic 3
4. Subtopic 4
5. Exit


        Each group consists of 3-4 members, where each member responsible for one module (menu item). Each group must create a class that should be used by all modules. Each module must:
1. Deliver a learning objective.
2. Manage information about the subtopic
3. Include a quiz
4. Include a game

In addition:
1. Be easy to use and easy to learn
2. Should present an engaging application
Important dates:
Week 3: Group name, edutainment name and modules
Week 4: Project 1 review – submit the design of menu based applications
Week 9: Presentation
